Game publisher Valve has announced a partnership with esports merchandising company We Are Nations.
As a result of the deal, We Are Nations will deliver a full range of merchandise for Dota 2’s The International 2021 (TI10).
Under the terms of the agreement, We Are Nations will be responsible for creating official branded apparel and accessories related to the event. The collection will be retailed both at the event and through a dedicated online store.
Patrick Mahoney, Co-Founder of We Are Nations, spoke on the announcement in a release: “Working with Valve on TI10 has been on my bucket list since we started doing esports merchandising.
“It’s a massive event, one of the biggest in the world of esports and really helps prove the thesis that esports as a global sports and entertainment concern is the real deal. This being one of our first events back after COVID is an added bonus.”
The International 10 is set to take place in Bucharest, Romania from October 7th – 17th in the National Arena stadium. This years’ edition marks the tenth annual edition of the event, which returns to Europe for the first time since 2011.
